Alliances really aren't that important to have in my opinion. Most guilds out there are full of idiots, and you don't need light green spam filling up your chat box.
KoM, for example, doesn't have an alliance with other guilds - only its own divisions (guild quest division, mule division, etc.) Though I suppose if the guild was small enough to all fit in one division that maybe it might have considered an alliance with allied guilds such as Scandalous.
But unless it's a guild that your guild is really close with, it would be too weird seeing chat from people you don't know. And as for Scandalous, I think I only know like one or two people in there, so that would feel really weird for me and wouldn't be something I'd like.
So, guess what I'm trying to say is, just because Failures doesn't have an alliance with anyone, doesn't make it fail. <3
